New EcoHomes division launched
To help meet the demand from both residential, commercial and public sector clients, Illustrious Homes has set up a new division – EcoHomes, specialising in new build and renovation projects to cut energy costs through using efficient materials, state of the art Smart technology and innovative techniques.
The new EcoHomes division aims to reduce the carbon footprint of all their projects allowing clients to benefit from increased savings on energy costs. With a simple approach of: consume less, by ensuring less energy is required to heat and light a property; and retain more heat within the property, Illustrious Homes can offer cost effective energy saving building solutions.
A recent property renovation by Illustrious Homes resulted in a reduction of emissions by over 70% and the EcoHomes division has now developed a range of packages for clients with varying options and budgets to benefit from energy efficiency.
The EcoHomes team at Illustrious Homes have developed a cost-effective installation method to use the latest technology in smart lighting, energy efficient boilers and wet under floor heating systems to help clients reduce lighting costs by over 20% and heating bills by over 40%.
One fifth of heat in a home is lost through single glazed windows and the experienced team at Illustrious Homes have developed an innovative solution to match the style and ambience of traditional sash windows, whilst utilising the benefits that double-glazing provides. This inventive glazing method can reduce heat loss by a staggering 80%.
The EcoHomes team at Illustrious specialises in improving a building’s energy performance whilst maintaining its original environment.
