Follow on Google News | Orlando Attorney Wins Client a Not Guilty Verdict in DUI CaseThe Orlando criminal defense attorney Matthews R. Bark from the firm Jaeger & Blankner won a not guilty verdict on behalf of his client in Seminole County, Florida.
The officer at the scene asked the women to step outside of her vehicle, where she was then asked to perform a series of field sobriety tests. Mr. Bark’s client failed miserably on these tests, which were being recorded on the police officer’s dash cam. She stepped off the line on the walk and turn test, and she was unable to keep her foot off the ground in the one leg stand test for more than 10 seconds. She was also swaying while she was standing in one place. After the women admitted to drinking four pints of beer earlier that day, an arrest shortly followed. At the woman’s trial, two law enforcement officers testified that the woman showed obvious signs of impairment. After listening to testimony from both the prosecution and the defense in a day long trial, the jury found the defendant NOT GUILTY, which was a remarkable success for the client whose BAC registered above 0.18%, more than twice the legal limit. # # # Jaeger & Blankner is a criminal defense firm located in Orlando, Florida.
