About the Author: First-time author Grant Johnson wrote and illustrated his book to get young people interested in vital issues, but in a fun way. “Until very recently, I designed and built safari lodges in southern Africa. I’ve used many thousands of trees in my life, so it would be nice to put something back somehow.” He lives near Auckland, New Zealand, and is writing his next book Computer Ken about the dangers of youth spending too much time on computers. “The real world is far more exciting and just outside the door.”
