Townhouse take-up in Edinburgh on increase

Feb. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- On behalf of DB Gunn, Ryden has successfully sold the freehold interest in 16 Young Street, Edinburgh to a private purchaser for £350,000.

The traditional mid-terrace two-storey and attic townhouse extends to 226 sq m (2,429 sq ft) and is category A listed.

Commenting on the sale, Peter I'Anson of Ryden stated: "Over the last few months we have seen the level of take-up for townhouse opportunities increase with interest from commercial owner-occupiers or parties looking to convert Georgian townhouses back into residential use.  At present all of our freehold townhouse opportunities are either under offer or have recently concluded with good sale prices being achieved.”
