These are some of the questions being asked at The Faculty Lounge, a newly launched on-line resource of Catholic Courses. Catholic Courses, an imprint of Saint Benedict Press, publishes audio and video lectures on the Catholic intellectual tradition from the best professors in the world.

At The Faculty Lounge visitors can go behind the scenes with professors and producers of Catholic Courses. Want to find out where Joseph Pearce turned during a point of crisis in his life? Or how Fr. Alfred McBride makes homilies about daunting topics easy to understand? And what’s all this about doomsday?

Posts at The Faculty Lounge often take topics covered in Catholic Courses and relate them to current events. For example, the “doomsday post” is inspired by Fr. McBride’s course Unveiling the Apocalypse, a study of the Book of Revelation in which Fr. McBride explores Catholic teaching about the end of the world.
