McGladrey Names Stan Mork National IT Transaction Advisory Services Leader

Feb. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- MINNEAPOLIS – (February 21, 2012) – McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, which operates under the McGladrey brand as the nation’s fifth largest provider of assurance, tax and consulting services, recently promoted Stan Mork to the newly created position of leader – national IT transaction advisory services. Mork will continue to be based out of the firm’s Minneapolis office.

In his new role, Mork will focus on the sale and delivery of IT due diligence and related technology services for private equity firms and other strategic buyers. He will develop and manage a dedicated team of IT due diligence resources, who will provide transaction services to help clients grow and streamline their operations. Mork and his team will work closely with the firm’s financial and tax transaction advisory teams to provide clients with fully integrated M&A solutions.

"Stan’s experience in IT due diligence, combined with his more than 20 years with McGladrey, have given him a keen understanding of private equity firms and other strategic buyers’ needs,” said Jon Caforio, national technology consulting leader. “His leadership and knowledge will be invaluable in leading our IT transaction advisory services group and better serving the technology needs of our clients,” added Brian Becker, partner, technology consulting.

In addition to IT due diligence, Mork’s experience includes providing technology strategy, system selection, packaged software implementation, application development, business intelligence implementation, system integration and technology project management services to clients. He has managed local, regional and national technology consulting practices for McGladrey, and has served as national director of IT consulting, providing oversight to the firm’s national technology consulting service line. Mork has advised clients in almost every industry, including manufacturing, distribution, financial services, health care, education and the public sector. He joined McGladrey after working in the computer industry, following his graduation from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
