Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Rising early in order to get a workout done before the working day starts may seem like too much effort to most of us but not to Anna Aparicio, who is training to compete in a fitness competition.

The Basque life coach moved from Bilbao (northern Spain) to Dublin fifteen years ago leaving her university studies and family behind to start a new life.

Having barely overcome anorexia and suffering from panic attacks, leaving was an ultimate resort to escape from the psychological bullying inflicted by her first boyfriend and a negative home environment. But Anna is not one for wallowing in self pity, and says she was lucky to hit the “point-of-no-return” threshold that allowed her to turn her life around and start to build up her self confidence.

Working as a fitness trainer in Australia and Dublin was fun, but she soon realised that changing people’s bodies would be a much easier task if they changed their minds about certain things first. Now one of Ireland’s most sought after confidence and motivation coaches, she still keeps in top physical shape.

“I’ve been through a good bit of heartache in my life, but a lot of people go through worse. It’s my own experience that allows me to empathise with my clients and help them overcome their own challenges. Something a lot of people still don’t realise is that the foods we eat and the drinks we drink affect our brain and our thoughts, and are the root of many of our problems, physical and psychological”

She assures me that keeping physically fit and strong helps her be a better coach, and that the gym helps develop valuable skills in life such as discipline, and motivation, and instils self-confidence. She thinks that sadly many people are too focused on losing weight, instead of focusing on strengthening their bodies and their minds.

As well as coaching privately and teaching seminars, she is also busy co-ordinating the Charisma Bootcamp, a four day course taking place in Dublin in April, taught by international top experts in charismatic communication, confidence, influence and persuasion.

“I’m very excited as we have delegates coming from all over the world,” she says. “if you are starting a business, or need help with your existing one, or work for a company but want to take your skills to another level, you will come out with invaluable cutting edge learnings on how to become a more confident and effective communicator and stand out in your field. It’s also a great opportunity to network and build new life and business relationships”.

By the time the Charisma Bootcamp takes place, she’ll have completed twelve rigorous weeks of tough training and clean nutrition, and according to her funny self, I will be able to grate cheese of her abdominals.

Anna’s Charisma Bootcamp course takes place on April 26th-29th at the Gresham Hotel in Dublin. 30%funding for Irish registered self employed people and businesses. Contact Anna Aparicio at anna@charisma.ie  or at 01 254 20 38 (http://www.charisma.ie)
