PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 20, 2012 - GameTech International, Inc., a leading supplier of electronic bingo equipment and video lottery terminals, has announced the first installation of the Explorer 2™, its latest portable Wi-Fi electronic bingo device.  Developed in partnership with X2 Computing, one of the world’s leading suppliers of mobile gaming devices using the latest tablet computers, 250 Explorer 2™ devices have been installed in the High Stakes Bingo Hall at the First Council Casino Hotel in Newkirk, Oklahoma, the flagship property of the Otoe Missouria Tribe.

The First Council Casino Hotel’s state-of-the-art facility seats up to 1000 guests complete with projection and Hi-Def LCD bingo flash boards.  On the opening night session, the new bingo hall was successfully filled with over 400 players. The Explorer 2™ has an enhanced 10” touch screen and delivers more than 10 hours of continuous battery life and interfaces exclusively with the GameTech EDGE Bingo System™.  This colourful and attractively designed device is ruggedised to withstand the bingo hall environment and supports the latest GameTech games, including Slingo Jokers Wild™.
