TaylorMade has used a Pull-Face construction to produce a high-strength 455 alloy steel face that combines high MOI with a larger hitting area. The deep face design and low centre-of-gravity are paired with a new deep sole pocket. The low and forward center of gravity is accomplished by moving the weight of the club forward rather than placing it in the back like a traditional fairway. This durable, yet flexible, Speed Pocket is designed to improve overall head and face flexibility and increase ball speeds. The standard version is fitted with a Matrix Ozik Xcon 5 50-gram shaft.
