Grand Opening of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail for Hiking & Biking

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 18, 2012 - The Atakapa-Ishak Nation proudly announces the Grand Opening of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail for hiking and biking, as it prepares for its dedication by the Lafayette Consolidated Government at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Parc Sans Souci in Downtown Lafayette will be the site of the event marking the dedication of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail at 10:30 a.m.

The Atakapa-Ishak Nation proudly asks you to mark this date on your calendar, as it is an event that is a long time coming. We are proud of our heritage and look forward to its future. Please feel free to pass this event along to your family, friends and anyone you believe will be interested in participating in this most historic event! Everyone is welcome.
