Feb. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- NH Commonwealth CEO Group is pleased to announce the addition of its newest members, Kate Thorne Meyers of Brown & Meyers Inc, and Mary Beth Lufkin of Granite State College!

The NH CEO Forum consists of a group of 10 women CEOs from various industries including healthcare, manufacturing, insurance, and social media services. It provides members the opportunity to work through major business issues. The women’s forum covers topics that affect women business owners. This strong peer mentoring aspect of the CEO forums creates a powerful, enduring support network for organizational growth as well as individual growth.

Dianne Durkin, president and founder of Loyalty Factor, is the facilitator for the monthly New Hampshire Chapter of the Commonwealth Institute’s Women CEO’s Forum. The Commonwealth Institute is an advisory group that helps business leaders with such issues as securing venture capital and other forms of financing, branding, and human resource issues.

As facilitator, Dianne asks the tough questions, plays devil’s advocate, and helps the women think though their processes, procedures and self imposed restrictions for success. It is accomplished in a small group and non-competitive setting.

Dianne’s CEO Forum group results have been remarkable:
•   One company received its largest contract ever.
•   Another company tripled its revenues within 6 months.
•   Another woman is in the process of negotiating a sale of her company.
•   Others have restructured their organizations to achieve more efficiencies.

In order to succeed, women need to have passion for what they do. Without passion, people can't create a vision or set a strategy. Another crucial component is business savvy, which often boils down to common sense. Successful businesswomen have to go the extra mile and have to have an edge, and be sensitive to social change and how it affects the workplace and employee attitudes.

Welcome to the NH CEO Forum Kate & Mary Beth!
