Follow on Google News | Kaelus to Exhibit at Mobile World Congress 2012Showcasing Range to Fault technology as well as new low PIM combining solutions for GSM, UMTS and LTE
By: Kaelus Range to Fault (RTF) technology uses reflection data combined with PIM data to accurately identify the location of faults in the RF path. This new technology enables operators to quickly identify and eliminate sources of PIM in their RF infrastructure and confidently combine multiple bands on the same feed system without generating harmful interference. Eliminating PIM reduces system noise allowing higher data throughput and improved service quality. Kaelus will also be presenting an assortment of high performance RF filters that combine inputs from multiple base stations at the bottom of the tower and then separate the bands at the top of the tower for routing to the appropriate antenna port. Kaelus’ AMC0011: DBC0058: LTE800 / EGSM900 Dual band combiner DBC2037: QBC0003: In addition to combiners, Kaelus will display a new Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) that simplifies UMTS2100 and LTE1800 network deployments. The TMA2053 is a dual duplex, AISG controlled TMA that amplifies uplink signal from mobile subscribers in both the 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz bands while allowing downlink signals to pass through with very low insertion loss. In combination with a DBC0021 dual band combiner, this TMA enables 1800 and 2100 MHz systems to co-exist on the same feed system and to utilize the same wideband antenna. TMA2053: For a demonstration of RTF technology or to receive additional information on Kaelus’ network sharing products please visit the Kaelus booth at MWC 2012 or visit our website at www.kaelus.com. # # # Kaelus, a Smiths Interconnect company designs and manufactures a wide range of innovative RF, microwave and test and measurement solutions for the wireless telecommunications sector.
