Families and friends affected by the disappearance of a loved one from anywhere in the United States are encouraged to attend, along with members of the community and organizations that assist in bringing missing persons home. This event is open to the public.
Representatives from the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) will be present to provide information about the NamUs program, assist families in registering for NamUs, and assist families in entering a missing loved one into NamUs.
A representative from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Center for Human Identification, will be present to collect DNA samples from family members of missing persons. http://www.untfsu.com/
