Multiple DC Metro Crew Teams participated in this one day event, but only one team could win the grand prize. The Walt Whitman High School Crew Team of Bethesda, MD purchased the most TotoTown vouchers, earning this deserving team $300 in total.
TotoTown aims to serve as a nexus for the clubs, schools, and nonprofits signed up on their website, bringing these groups together for a mutually beneficial opportunity. Due to the positive response from the crew teams, TotoTown is currently looking to hold more nexus contests in the future.
TotoTown will be holding another Crew Team Fundraising Contest next quarter and is hoping even more teams will participate and strengthen their fundraising relationship with TotoTown.
