AMAC Poll: ‘Overwhelming’ Support For Impeachment Of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Feb. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- BOHEMIA, NY, Feb  -- An overwhelming 96% of AMAC members and visitors polled at its Web site said that liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg earned impeachment with her disparaging remarks about the U.S. Constitution on Egypt national television, according to Dan Weber, president and founder of the Association of Mature American Citizens.

“It was bad enough when President Obama went to Egypt to ‘apologize’ for America.  Now Justice Ginsburg has the temerity to tell the Egyptian people that the U.S. Constitution is “rather old” and shouldn’t be used as a model for other countries,” Weber said in announcing the early results of a poll the conservative organization sponsored this month.  

The poll asked whether she should be impeached “and so far it is 6,569 to 300 voting in favor of impeachment—a whopping 96%.  This, in less than a week.  Her views on the Constitution did not sit well with voters.

“Here’s a country that is in the throes of deciding whether it should side with terrorism against the U.S. or with democracy… a country that is holding American citizens hostage while accepting American aid in the billions of dollars.  Meanwhile, our President and his ideological surrogates are offering a lot of self-deprecating advice,” Weber remarked.  “No wonder the public here at home is fed up and angry.”

He suggests people take a look at the comments being posted on the Web.  “One post, in particular, caught my eye.  The author had this to say: ‘This woman is definitely in the wrong job. As a Supreme Court Justice how can she serve American citizens and uphold its laws if she does NOT support the US Constitution that she swore to uphold’.”
