Greensleeves Adds Geothermal Depth

Feb. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- “To better meet the rapidly growing demand for Greensleeves’ GeoModule™ solution, we are pleased to announce that Bob Braam has joined Greensleeves as Vice President of Geothermal Operations.  Bob’s industry leading expertise and relationships will significantly strengthen Greensleeves’ ability to build market share in the most rapidly growing technology in the HVAC industry, geothermal.  He will head up our geothermal business unit with responsibility for business development, implementation, quality control and post sales service,” said Sharon Keeran, Vice President of Operations.  

Mr. Braam brings industry leading expertise in geothermal technology from his prior experience as the founder and President of Midwest Geothermal.  He was able to grow Midwest rapidly based on his commitment to quality and his deep domain expertise in geothermal.  “Greensleeves’ investment in making geothermal easier and cheaper to adopt will make the geothermal market grow even faster.  The U.S. geothermal has been growing at 23% since 2004 – it’s the most rapidly growing segment of the HVAC market.  I am passionate about energy efficiency and Greensleeves’ hybrid geothermal solution is a practical way to obtain affordable efficiency,” said Bob Braam.  

Mr. Braam has extensive experience in geothermal and construction including overseeing the installation of more than 600,000 linear feet of geothermal borefields.  Prior to Midwest Geothermal, he was the Vice President of Sales for several companies including a heavy equipment company and a Fortune 500 food manufacturing company.  

Mr. Braam attended Grand Valley State College in Allendale, Michigan.  

He will join Stephen Hamstra, Chief Technical Officer, in Greensleeves’ Zeeland, Michigan office.
