Be Part of It - Swansea celebrates 2012

Feb. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The Olympic year has finally arrived and Swansea is playing a big part in the celebrations by hosting an exciting range of activities and events.

Swansea Libraries, Active Swansea Centres, museums, parks, and other venues will join in the festivities with reading challenges, sports competitions, cultural activities and events.

And to ensure no one misses out on what's happening dedicated webpages www.swanseabepartofit.co.uk has been set up to include full details of events taking place, the route of the torch as well as information on all Olympic and Paralympic Games coverage that will be shown on the Big Screen at Castle Square.

The Olympic spirit will truly be alive in Swansea with the arrival of the Olympic torch on 26 May. Torchbearers will carry the Torch through the city and this unique occasion will be marked by an evening celebration at Singleton Park.
