PRLog - Feb. 15, 2012 - HOUSTON -- John Palmer Fine Art of Houston, Texas has successfully exhibited for its first year at the Modern & Contemporary Los Angeles Art Show. The Los Angeles Art Show was the most successful fair John Palmer Fine Art has had since beginning art fair exhibition in 2009. The John Palmer Fine Art Gallery featured the beautiful pieces of Escapism Founder John Ross Palmer as well as the 2010 Escapist Artists: Kelley Devine, Ryan Fugate and Edgar Medina and the 2011 Escapist Artists: Nubia Gala-Seibert, Raul Gonzalez and Zak Vasquez. The Escapist Mentorship Program, in its fourth year, focuses on teaching the artists confidence, salesmanship and business savvy so that they do not have to rely on the traditional art gallery system.

In total, seven pieces were sold at the Los Angeles Art Show by John Palmer Fine Art. Four were placed with new collectors by 2010 Escapist Edgar Medina, one was placed by 2011 Escapist Nubia Gala-Seibert, one was placed by 2010 Escapist Ryan Fugate and one was placed by the Escapism movement founder John Ross Palmer.
"An an artist and gallery-owner, I was humbled to be among the talent showing at this prestigious fair," said Artist John Ross Palmer. "To sell my largest piece that was featured in the Catalogue at the 'eleventh hour' on Sunday was one of the most rewarding moments of my career. To come to a new city where my name is not as recognized and experience such success is incredibly inspiring."
