“I come from a family of teachers and so it’s in my blood to teach,” said David Holland, host of Real Money with David Holland. “It has always been my mission to educate my clients on how to best handle their personal finances. This work inspired me to write my Confessions series and use this as the basis to create the TV show.”
David Holland has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years and in 1997 founded his own firm, Holland Financial in Ormond Beach, Florida. Drawing from his experience of working with hundreds of clients, David wrote the Confessions series to impart a general knowledge of personal finance to a wide audience. In the spring of 2011, he began hosting a daily radio show with a similar message. Bearing the same name as the television show, Real Money with David Holland, is broadcast on two AM talk stations in the Volusia County area.
Real Money with David Holland, the TV show, began filming with King’s Eye Productions in the fall of 2011. The majority of the show is shot at the Holland Financial Center where a studio was constructed within the office. Eighteen episodes are planned for Season 1. In addition to David’s commentary, most episodes will include expert interviews as well as real world questions and emails.
Founded in 1997 by David Holland, Holland Financial is parent holding company through which its subsidiaries Holland Insurance Services and Holland Advisory Services provide financial planning, retirement income planning, investment management, estate/wealth planning, and insurance products to retirees and pre-retirees in Central and North Florida.
