Aim's Tim Pepler Proves Popular

Feb. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Aim Group, one of the North of England’s largest providers of motor and family legal cover, has recruited Tim Pepler as sales manager for the South West: an appointment which is paying dividends from day one.

Tasked with seeking out new referrals from around the region and promoting Aim’s recently launched online broker platform – which allows intermediaries of all sizes to enhance their offers, improve efficiency and increase revenue streams – the persuasive Pepler spent his first day on the road winning two competitive pitches for the business and lining up appointments with introducers previously unaware of Aim Group’s growing presence in the national market.

Born and living in the territory he’s now responsible for, Pepler is an experienced and well connected sales manager, particularly in the automotive arena. He joined Aim from Helphire Plc where he spent eight years performing a similar role, searching out new business and managing existing customers’ accounts.

National sales manager Ian Meachin, to whom Pepler reports, is already impressed with the newest member of his team. He says: “Our initial conversations led me to believe that Tim would be a popular addition to the salesforce, for customers, prospects and existing staff alike. His performance so far has reinforced that opinion. I’ve absolutely no doubt that Tim will increase our visibility among brokers and throughout the motor trade in the South West and I’m delighted to have him on board.”

Pepler, familiar to some through previous sales calls, familiar to others, perhaps, through his part time work as a film and TV extra in the likes of Casualty and The House Of Elliott, adds: “Belief in the product and personal integrity are key for me. How can I convince someone of the benefits of working with Aim if I’m not personally convinced?”
