On February 14, Gilt.com will launch the sale with a compilation of the most coveted swimwear trends from designers featured in the 2012 editorial. This includes top styles from La Isla’s tribal and psychedelic bikini collections, made with premium Italian and Spanish fabrics with intricate hand embroidery. Each look will be modeled by veteran Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Julie Henderson on the Gilt.com site.
This collaboration will also work to build upon the reach of La Isla’s ongoing corporate social responsibility program. Each year La Isla supports various non-profit organizations, including the Surfrider Foundation, Children of the Americas, and Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society. Additionally, the brand has recently launched their “La Isla 360” program, a charitable program based on a one-for-one donation concept, designed to support non-profit organizations around the world.
