MeliModa fuses social networking, fashion-industry sourcing, and an e-commerce marketplace in an attractive interface. Not only does MeliModa encourage interactions between brands, designers, retailers, and consumers, but also allows for manufacturing resources, sales contacts, and other   important industry information.  From sketchpad, to factory, to boutique rack, MeliModa provides a unified platform which helps brands move their merchandise through the production chain.  Simply put; MeliModa reaches merchants and shoppers in a way that is up-to-date and cost effective.  

Melimoda began with the simple idea of an online business-to-business apparel and accessory      directory which helps buyers discover the latest trends and purchase at wholesale cost via a website.  Bringing the entire tradeshow experience on an easy-to-use internet platform and generating brand awareness is the fundamental goal of MeliModa.  Designers and new brands have the difficult task of breaking into the marketplace and Krikelis experienced this same difficulty with her own Relax Missy shoe line.  After some brainstorming, Krikelis, and CEO Karl Pierre, both realized MeliModa was the start of something huge which filled a void in an untapped marketplace – and went to work!

Fashion lovers are another key element to the MeliModa model in which Pierre brought in to help    companies reach maximum exposure.  Having fashion lovers join the MeliModa network allows for exclusive looks at new collections and feedback to the brands with our “I’d Buy It” voting system stating which looks are most popular and steering retailers towards new products.  Fashion lovers are the leaders to the industry, and what better way to involve them than MeliModa!  

Fashion brands are not the only ones who benefit, several other categories include: Home Décor, Art, Cosmetic, and Jewelry.  How else would we call ourselves the ULTIMATE FASHION INDUSTRY NETWORK if we didn’t include everything?
