Evan Guthrie Law Firm Talks About Law At Dorchester Two Higher Learning Academy At Summerville High

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 14, 2012 - Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina participated in the Dorchester 2 Higher Learning Academy held at Summerville High School In Summerville, SC on Saturday February 11th 2012. The Higher Learning Academy is in place to encourage high school students in schools throughout Dorchester District Two including Ashley Ridge, Fort Dorchester, and Summerville High Schools to learn about leadership and careers by partnering with local businesses. Many different careers and local colleges were represented with tables to assist the students by providing information and career advice.  Attorney Evan Guthrie represented the legal profession and had a table to explain different law careers and answer questions that the students had about a career in the law.

Mr. Guthrie’s table was busy as there were many students that stopped by and asked many questions. Questions ranged from how much school it takes to be a lawyer or paralegal to what one has to do to practice family law.  Attorney Evan Guthrie was happy to give back to and serve the community that supports him and help students that were once in his position with an interest in the law succeed in their careers. Mr. Guthrie did not become a lawyer without help and support from others in the community and he was happy to be in a position to return the favor to students that wanted to pursue a legal career.
