Magnapower sells Eddy Current Separator to the U.S.A

Feb. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Alan Ross Machinery, leading scrap processing equipment dealer in North America announced the sale of its first UK manufactured Magnapower Eddy Current to Action Recyclers for the separation of aluminium from PET flake and glass. The system includes a vibrating feeder, drum magnet and belt cleaning brush, and is capable of processing approximately 5 tons per hour.

According to Rustin Ross, President of Alan Ross Machinery, Magnapower’s eddy current sorting system was selected by Action Recyclers because its proprietary eccentric rotor design proved effective for their application, including sorting fines. The unit is scheduled for installation March of 2012.
