Feb. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS, – The Outlook Foundation, a non-profit organization created to refurbish and repurpose computers, providing them to under resourced children as well as U.S. service personnel, recently donated four Lenovo netbook computers to soldiers from Delta Company, “Desert Rats” 405th Civil Affairs Battalion.

John Iasiuolo, Outlook Foundation president and host of the Internet talk show, the Computer Outlook Show, made the presentation on Saturday, Jan. 28, during a cookout at VFW Post 10047 near Nellis Air Force Base. The cookout was held to honor the soldiers before being deployed to Afghanistan on a civil affairs mission. Major Victor S. Ingram accepted the netbooks on behalf of the soldiers.

“I value my troops and am always looking for ways for them to be appreciated,” said Major Ingram. “Computers are a great way to keep in touch, so this donation means a great deal to both my troops and their families.”

“Being separated from loved ones is a difficult experience,” Iasiuolo said, “The Outlook Foundation and all of our members are honored to show our respect and gratitude for the sacrifices these soldiers and their families are making for our country.”
