Crenlo hires Jerry Otto to lead enclosure sales organization

Proven leader in channel management expected to grow Crenlo’s enclosure business

Feb. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- ROCHESTER, Minn. (February 14, 2012) — Crenlo is pleased to welcome Jerry Otto as national sales manager for the company’s enclosure business. He brings with him more than 20 years of channel management and sales management experience.

In his new position, Otto will manage Crenlo’s team of enclosure sales representatives as well as a network of manufacturer’s representatives throughout the United States and Canada. Through these channels, Otto will be responsible for growing sales of Crenlo’s standard lineup of Emcor® enclosures, as well as Crenlo’s modified and custom enclosure and console solutions.

“Jerry has a proven ability to identify strategic sales channels and cultivate long-term customer relationships,” said Greg Wetzel, general manager of the enclosure business at Crenlo. “He is very well-suited to help us achieve our growth plan in new and existing market segments, including datacom/telecom, military/aerospace, air traffic control, energy, medical and industrial.”

Throughout his career, Otto has demonstrated a strong track record of executing sales growth plans in the B2B market, most recently spending six years as vice president of sales for Cannon Equipment — a designer and manufacturer of stocked and custom point-of-purchase fixtures.
