Pisco Party with Kous Kous Moroccan Bistro in Hillcrest, CA

Feb. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- San Diego, California- Kous Kous Moroccan Bistro and Piscología Pisco  will host “Morocco meets Peru” in Hillcrest of San Diego, CA.  Attendees  will enjoy the dishes created by Moumen Nouri and pisco cocktails crafted by mixologist Frankie Thaheld on Monday February 27th from 5pm to 7pm.

Kous Kous Moroccan Bistro is the hidden gem of the Hillcrest’s dining scene. Chef Moumen Nouri serves Moroccan fare in an authentic and flavorful menu. The intimate ambiance captures Moumen’s concept while growing up in Marrakech, Morocco and the tapas are nicely complimented with herbs and spices.  “ I always enjoyed our rich Moroccan traditions: the aroma of our slow cooked Tagines, the colors of our murals and rugs, and the sights and sounds in the marketplace. At the same time, I yearned to discover and learn from the west. I listened to international music, learned other languages, and gradually acquired a mindset that helps me to understand and embrace both worlds,” says Nouri.

Piscologia pisco will show its support to Coeur de Cuisine, benefiting charities of the Escondido Rotary Foundation on Sunday February 26th, 2012 5pm to 8pm.The “Gourmet Gala” will feature cuisine, spirits, and wine from leading leading restaurants, companies, and wineries throughout the San Diego and North San Diego region. It will be a black tie affair evening with up to 500 guests who are Rotarians, business, professional and governmental leaders and friends of the community of fellowship and support of philanthropic efforts.
