Carter Commends Missouri Lieutenant Governor Candidate Peter Kinder for Ron-Paul-Like Approach

Feb. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- St. Charles, MO , February 13, 2012--Today Lt. Governor Peter Kinder's office announced that he is giving up his official state automobile after seven years in office. Fellow republican candidate for Lt. Governor Mike Carter applauds Kinder's decision.

Carter is a supporter of Ron Paul-type politics, advocating smaller government, the abolishment of unnecessary spending, and a ban on unnecessary intrusion into the private lives of citizens.

"It has long been my opinion that the office of Lt. Governor is overpaid and underworked. I am glad to see that my opponent has realized the dire state of our economy and is finally taking at least some limited action to end unnecessary government spending. I believe that all government officials should  stop taking advantage of their constituents. I applaud Kinder for taking this small step."

Kinder has had the car since 2005.
