Largely inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, this book is about becoming inspired through learning and self preparation.   From the likes of W.E.B. Du Bois, Langston Hughes,  Charles S. Johnson and many others,  we revisit the experiences and wisdom of our literary leaders while using their words as a guide for daily affirmation.

Discovering who we are is a journey.  Often, it is in our darkest hour when we are awakened and prepared for our destiny!  Sometimes, our greatest challenge, is learning how to prepare ourselves for greater rewards. The Harlem Renaissance reminds us that with persistence and confidence we can overcome any obstacle and become victorious!

The goal of this book is simple: To Inspire Others to Become Better.  Genuine change begins with self and one must be willing to review self in order for real change to occur.
