Harlem Globetrotters and “Futboleros” Inspire Underprivileged Kids to Live an Active Lifestyle

*Harlem Globetrotters Clown Prince, Big Easy Lofton, and rookie sensation TNT Maddox, the first female on the team in 19 years.

*Specializing in extreme soccer tricks and stunts and juggling, Futboleros teammates James Ortega and Carlos Palafox.

*125+ students from grades 4th -6th and faculty

The magicians of basketball are teaming up with the wizards of freestyle soccer as the Harlem Globetrotters and Futboleros pay a special visit to Para Los Niños Charter School to offer a thrilling display of “round ball razzle dazzle” while connecting with the students about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.  Kids will be challenged to keep up a commitment to regular physical activity and to take the President’s Challenge to lead an active lifestyle.

*The event is a prelude to the 2012 Harlem Globetrotters World Tour Southland Games at Honda Center (2/18) STAPLES Center (2/19) & Citizens Business Bank Arena (2/20).
