Sunera Dallas expands Texas Practice

Feb. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX, February 10, 2012 – Sunera LLC, a leading provider of business consulting and technology risk management services, would like to announce that it is expanding its Texas Practice through an office upgrade in Dallas and the opening of its Houston Office.  Brian Amend, Managing Partner of Sunera Texas, commented, “With our successful 2011 revenue and profitability results, we felt it was time to capitalize on our momentum by upgrading our Dallas location and formally establishing a new office in Houston, where we have been serving clients for over four years.”

Effective March 1, 2012 the Dallas Office will move to 1400 Preston Road, Suite 400, Plano, Texas 75093.  The new location, along with the Houston location, will feature a formal training facility, where Sunera’s burgeoning Professional Development Practice will be better able to serve the training needs of Sunera’s clients and other associations.  Danny M. Goldberg, Sunera’s Professional Development Partner based in Dallas, said, “Our new training facilities in Dallas and Houston will seat 40+ participants and will allow us to deliver high-quality auditing, accounting and soft skills training to our valued clients and the marketplace in a forum that reflects the professionalism and quality service that Sunera is known for.”

The Houston Office will formally open on March 1, 2012, and will be located in the Galleria area at 5100 Westheimer Road, Suite 200, Houston, Texas  77056.  Kevin Carey, a Director in Texas responsible for service delivery to current Houston clients commented, “Our formal move to establish a Houston Office is a natural progression into a market that Sunera has served for the past four years.  With the establishment of this location, we plan to further penetrate the Houston market, which is ripe with companies that we feel could benefit from our services.”  

Brian Amend will lead both offices as Managing Partner of the Texas Practice.  His responsibilities will include all personnel management, client service, and continued market share growth in Dallas, Houston, and other Texas cities.  Mr. Amend has 20 years of managerial and leadership experience in risk management, internal audit, and accounting.  Most notably, he built another risk management firm’s Dallas Practice in 2008, acquired the Practice, and merged it with Sunera in 2010. In the process, Brian was selected as one of the “Top 40 Business People Under 40 Years Old” by the Dallas Business Journal.  Brian also serves as the President of the Dallas Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors for the 2011-2012 chapter year.  Danny M. Goldberg will focus on expanding Sunera’s national Professional Development Practice as well as leading the Texas Practice’s Permanent Placement and Staff Augmentation division.
