In celebration of the Chinese Year of the Dragon, Aston Martin has come up with 88 limited edition vehicle packages. The buyer can select from the following vehicles – DBS, Virage and V8 Vantage S – to be enhanced with a special color and trim combination, premium features and unique detailing, all inspired by Chinese dragon imagery. Vibrant and Rich red and gold hues will be the base for the exterior and interior color pallets, enhanced by bright metal work and dragon-related detailing. 24-Carat gold plated Aston Martin wings badges will be featured on the bonnet and rear of the car. Exclusive to the Year of the Dragon 88 Limited Edition, a striking headrest embroidery design, inspired by the “Nice-Dragon Wall” in Behai Park, Beijing. Unique sill plagues will be fitted with laser-etched special edition nomenclature. Additional enhances will include the front grille, meshes, wheels, and brake calipers.
Aston Martin references the DB9 as “a thoroughbred sports car with GT levels of comfort and refinement. Beautifully styled, the DB9 never fails to stir the soul.” The DB9 Sport Edition will be available in a choice of exterior colors from the Fast Track, Contemporary and DBS Special range of paint colors. A light-weight, forged 10 spoke wheel with a gloss black pinstripe finish will be available for the special edition vehicle. Going with the theme of superior attention to detail, each wheel takes 2 ¼ hours to produce. Quilted leather headlining will be available in a choice of leather colors with coordinating Alcantara cant rails. An exquisite Piano Black center console, center plate, ashtray lid and door pulls will be featured as part of the standard specification. A sill plaque detailing the limited production of this edition will be specified on this car.
