Proof Wood Eyewear and Oh Blimey S.F. Rapper

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 13, 2012 - Oh Blimey is an up and coming female mc from the Bay Area. But, don’t let the bright smile and wink fool you. She is one of the toughest MC’s in the battle rap arena. When she spits a verse she doesn’t hold back. Oh blimey recently recorded and shot a video with a verse that brought a new sunglass company into the mix. Producer Left Lane created the beat and shot and edited the entire thing. Oh Blimey touts the wood framed glasses she’s wearing throughout the video.
We talked with Tanner Dame the guy that pulled the collabo together. “Oh Blimey is someone we had seen on You Tube doing these Rap battles for a while now. She spits fire when she raps. She just mashes her competition. She recently won a battle on the traveling battle circuit Grind Time, which is an invite only rap battle contest. I’m not really sure how we hooked up, but we started talking on twitter and one thing lead to the next and we got her set up with some Proof Wood Glasses and the rest is history”

Oh Blimey worked with producer Left Lane one afternoon came up with the beat, concept and video. The finished product is a nice rhyme with a little shout out for the up and coming sunglass company that specializes in wooden sunglasses.
