Cateenna Davis, Paramedic to Publically Acclaimed Self-Published Author and Entrepreneur

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 13, 2012 - Cateenna Davis, who resides in South Florida and is a paramedic by trade, holds a degree in emergency medicine with certificates in leadership and public speaking. Cateenna released the internationally debuted novel Sarah Rose in Summer of 2011 and  became a fast evolving entrepreneur of the already, well talked Self-Publishing Basics Workshop, Your Ticket to Getting It Right the First Time, after losing her job to the poor conditions of the economy.

Cateenna never intended for Sarah Rose to be read by the masses. It was merely suppose to be written as a form of releasing stressors. In fact, in the very beginning, Sarah Rose was not written in story form nor did it have a title. It would be Cateenna’s husband, Elton that soon read a few of the pages and informed her that she had a book on her hands and should allow others to read it. After many times of telling him no, she finally rewrote the words into storyline form and found that Elton was right all long.

In summer of 2011 Cateenna released Sarah Rose to the public in e-Book format only. After many requests from readers, she decided to print in paperback. Sarah Rose is now a five star reviewed fiction/suspense/erotic/paranormal novel continuing to climb the ladder of best sellers with readers critically acclaiming “Awesome Debut!”, “Sarah Rose Simply Brilliant!” and “Outstanding!”

With the continuing success of Sarah Rose Cateenna has launched a workshop for aspiring authors who are also looking to self-publish. The Self-Publishing Basics Workshop focuses on the basic elements of self-publishing. Such as, Getting to Know the Industry, Steps to Self-Publishing, ISBN’s, POD’s and much more.

“After having several conversations with other authors and hearing about so many horror stories and defrauds in the industry.”  Cateenna Davis says, “I chose to teach the basics due to lack of ‘basic’ knowledge on the topic.” In doing so Cateenna hopes, her knowledge and experience will help other aspiring authors attain the success she has as a self-published author and rising entrepreneur.
