Genesis 3: The Fall of Man
This series has been developed for those with a keen desire to learn the Bible by heart, but have found the method of rote memorization unsatisfactory to accomplish Scripture memorization.
Utilizing the ancient memory technique of 'loci' or "locations" students are "walked" through the Bible narrative of Genesis 3, the fall of man. This process takes place in the imagination. Using strong visual imagery, the reader is brought to know the Scripture by heart.
This method of memorization was used with great success within the Christian Church before falling into disuse after the advent of the printing press.
With a renewed desire to learn Scripture by heart, these memory techniques or "mnemonics" have again been uncovered for use within the Church for memorization of both Scripture and theological learning.
