The World's Most Beautiful Women Are In Kiev

Feb. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Hong Kong - The magazine Travelers Digest has declared that the world's prettiest women are in Kiev. Kiev takes the number one spot on their ranking of cities with the most beautiful women, while other Eastern European cities take another two of the ten places.

Travelers Digest has been releasing a version of this list since 2006 and this is the first time that Kiev has made an appearance. Stockholm, previous occupier of the number one spot, has slipped to number two in the latest ranking.

The ranking was penned by author Dakota Smith, who seems to have nothing but praise for the women of Kiev, at one point favorably comparing them to the ladies of Moscow. We talked to Dakota and he explained how the cities were chosen: “First our group of travel writers created a small pool of cities based on personal observations and then we conducted an opinion poll. There's always going to be controversy with a list like this, but it's meant to be lighthearted fun and not represented as scientific fact.”

Travelers Digest is an English language travel magazine based out of Hong Kong. While their travel writers cover destinations in most parts of the world, the website has a large amount of articles and guides about Asian tourist destinations.
