New Acting Workshops in Los Angeles

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 13, 2012 - Los Angeles, California – Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio is proud to announce their new acting workshops in Los Angeles. These workshops will include three special courses; for beginning actors and those who already work in the industry, but want to also achieve more (http://www.emasla.com/).

Each workshop is split in a specified number of weeks and includes strategies for being a more skilled actor or actress.

The company’s Directors believe that as with any other career, good acting requires special training, and the Emasla Studio has well-seasoned acting instructors to help individuals reach a higher level.

Here’s what students can expect:

The Scene Study is an acting class for students who are already working, but also want to take their performance up a notch. Many times  actors will only land small gigs in partial scenes due to a lapse in acting techniques. Through the eyes of seasoned acting coaches, students will discover what needs improvement. The class consists of a small group of no more than 14 actors, and this will give students the individualized attention that’s needed.

The Actor’s Life workshop (http://www.emasla.com/acting_school/los_angeles_actingsch...) teaches working actors how to capitalize on skills like self-branding, networking and marketing, in order to earn more and also become hired in more quality roles.

The Beginner’s Classes series was designed for students who have worked in the industry for less than a year. It’s a comprehensive course that includes preparation for creative imagination, decoding scripts, getting into character, as well as knowing the right techniques for voice control and body movement.
The workshops provide professional-level skills for television, film and theater. Plus, the studio is recommended by the well-accredited NBC’s Diversity Talent Development Program.
