TalkPoint and Life Technologies expand flow cytometry educational series

The two-part series begins with a gating and data analysis webinar

The TalkPoint powered webinars, part of the Molecular Probes® Flow Cytometry Educational Series, will kick off with part one of the two-part event on Tuesday, February 21 at 8:00 a.m. PST.  

During the free webinar, Jolene Bradford, MLS (ASCP) CM, R&D associate director of flow cytometry systems at Life Technologies, will lend her expertise to the discussion on gating and data analysis. The following topic areas will be discussed in the basics of flow cytometry:

•   The principle of the flow cytometry platform
•   The basic components of a flow cytometer
•   How to interpret a dye excitation/emission spectrum
•   How data is displayed
•   Basic gating demonstration
•   Common statistics and terminology used in flow cytometry
