From a diverse musical background in Liverpool and Manchester, Alex Dunford (born 1984, Liverpool, England) has been a multi instrumentalist since he was 13. Primarily a drummer in various liverpool based bands (including computer game music band 1up), he has now decided to concentrate on being a multi-instrumentalist and producer, writing music, remixing, and has now established himself as a in demand producer and remixer in the north of England.
His sound includes elements of such artists as Brian Eno, Sigur Ros, Depeche Mode and Recoil, with a blend of Orchestra, Analogue synths, Drum Machines and Acoustic Instruments. Alex plays all instruments, programs all drum machines, writes all music, and produces all the music you hear on his releases.
With the aid of co-writers and vocalists (Jeff Jepson, Dom Veron, Kate Smith), themselves coming from worlds more akin to folk/blues/jazz/
