First-time Dublin author Carmen Ambrosio will be the other featured writer at the leap year event. Her memoir Life Continues: Facing the Challenges of MS, Menopause & Midlife with Hope, Courage & Humor candidly describes several of the physical and emotional hurdles she experienced after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis two decades ago. Ambrosio uses short essays and verse to recount how she relies on laughter, friendships and acceptance to cope with ever-changing symptoms and an uncertain future.
Both WHILE … and Life Continues received five-star ratings from Midwest Book Review and praise from readers across the country. The memoirs are available in trade paperback, Kindle and Nook editions.
