"The album is going to be coming out hopefully in the early months of 2012 ," he said. "I'm really excited about it. Hopefully we can make history where we'll be working with a lot of different types of people and working very hard to try and make something different than ever before....something that people aren't really used to but will love all the same."
According to MusicOlogy, Tolson's team believes that this will be a huge success and the singer has a lot to do, if he wants to top get into the charts. The album may comprise house and techno, hip/hop, pop, alternative, and acoustic music giving a broad range of opportunities to the teen. In a different industry, his book, Zephyr the West Wind, sold over 20,000 copies in the first week alone. It received top rankings within a month and two mothers after that it received multiple awards; Tolson's going to have to work hard to beat his book sales.
According to MT Video, Tolson will be working with a few performers on the new album. Tolson has already said that he was working with some fairly unheard talent earlier this year, and that people shouldn't take that as something to look down upon.
Tolson's album is being produced by 3 Wishes Electronic Studio, Knof Smith and Jake Kast. However, Koop Sel, one of Tolson's current managers, said that Tolson is writing almost 100% of the album. Sel said that Tolson wrote a very good song that sounded a lot like a Avicii or David Guetta record. Sel went onto say that he is very excited for Tolson and this album.
