The Atlanta Ballet’s 2011-12 season includes a mix of classical and modern dance. Presenting The Princess and the Goblin in mid-February, a world premier ballet choreographed by Twyla Tharp, it is the story of a courageous girl coming of age. The Atlanta Ballet will also present Snow White for three performances in February. This will be a one hour family event. In addition, Atlanta Ballet’s The Man in Black will be a modern performance set to the music of country music legend Johnny Cash. It is Atlanta Ballet’s final production of the season.
