TEAM LINK Gets Hype and Xtreme!

Feb. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- In the world of MMA there are many sponsors, and apparel designers. In New England there are 5 or 6. In a short time out of no where came HypeXtreme. HypeXtreme has been seen on some of the best fighters in New England to include but not just Matt Bessette former 155lb Reality Fighting Champion, and current 155lb GFL Champion. Bessette a former fighter under the world reknowned Marco Alvan (TEAM LINK) now trains in Hartford, CT at Underdog BJJ. American Top Teams Kurt Chase-Patrick current 135lb ammy Cage Titans Champion, and many others. The owner of HypeXtreme was introduced to Marco Alvan from Warrior Nation XFA fight promotion owner Jesse Camp. Hype was able to execute a sponsorship proposal for Ricardo Funch. Funch is a former UFC Fighter and current number 1 ranked fighter in New England.
       HypeXtreme Owner DS was also asked if there would be interest in sponsoring former M1 Global Champion Abner Lloveras. DS jumped at this opportunity. Both Funch and Lloveras fought on December 3rd at the Premier FC promotion in Amherst, MA and were victorious. Funch defeated current Bellator top competitor and American Top Team fighter Ryan Quinn. Lloveras was victorious over Roch Moskowitz in a 3 round decision. So now ask yourself what is Hype's current relationship with TEAM LINK?
      This past week HypeXtreme's owner DS decided to pay Marco Alvan and TEAM LINK in Ludlow, MA a visit. DS told us he makes the occasional visit to see what new talent has arrived! He also explained he had talked to Funch and was told there was a fighter under the radar training out of TEAM LINK Ludlow. Who you ask? Jon Manley. Jon is one of the most dedicated hardworking fighters in the game. Jon actually was accompanied by Gabriel Gonzaga to the Ultimate Fighter tryouts in Las Vegas. DS headed out to Ludlow to try and capture this finely tuned athlete on his "SYNDICATE". Was DS successful is the question? YES! DS, was able to meet and talk with Marco Alvan and Jon Manley and a sponsor/fighter agreement was made.
      While DS was in Ludlow he made a remark to Marco Alvan, he stated, "I almost called you about Alexandre "Vaca" Moreno." This statement was followed by a laugh, and eye roll. DS stated he knew how sought after "Vaca" is a never thought in Hype's early stages he could score such and amazing fighter. Marco disagreed! After a short discussion another agreement for sponsorship was made. Alexandre "Vaca" Moreno is the current reigning 185lb Reality Fighting Champion Title holder. HypeXtreme's owner said he couldn't have been more ecstatic. DS stated, "Going into talk with Marco Alvan is initimidating on it's own for one fighter, but leaving with two? That's just amazing!" Marco Alvan has been recognized as one of the top BJJ coaches in the world. To have not one, or two, not even three, but FOUR top fighters under his direction/coaching is quite the accomplishment.
      DS said that 2012 will be the year of Hype! Is he correct? Is 2012 the year that a small New England based company only started in August of 2011 going to hit the big time?
