Designer Angelique Terrelonge Launches her Marabou Fur Collection during New York Fashion Week

Feb. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- New York Fashion Week draws the top designers both emerging and established. Retail buyers, media and celebrities flock to this event to see what the fashion world offerings are for the upcoming season. Emerging designers like Angelique Terrelonge eagerly present their collections to buyers looking to have the new and hottest trends displayed in their stores and boutiques. After 7 years of perfecting her line, Terrelonge and her company, South Beach Furs, present us with Today’s NEW Choice in Furs…Feathers! “Our furs are made from the finest marabou boas, which are an all natural fiber. About Angelique Terrelonge
Angelique Terrelonge is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in NYC. After completing her design program at F.I.T. she was accepted into the inaugural Fur Design and Marketing program. Upon completion, she worked in the fur industry for several years with such named fashion houses as Fred the Furrier for Alexander, Davellin Furs and Macy’s Fur Salon. After relocating to South Florida she has made it her mission to use fashion to make dreams come true by empowering women. To that end, she has taught fashion design in a local women’s prison as part of a vocational program to give inmates a marketable skill. Her company South Beach Furs is committed to putting hard to place people back to work and currently employs some of the released graduates of her teaching program.
