Emmy-Nominated Actress, Author & Producer Meredith Baxter To Headline Center For Community Solutions

Feb. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Join Meredith Baxter at Center for Community Solutions’ 13th Annual Tea on the Town fundraiser on Friday, April 27, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. Meredith Baxter is an Emmy-nominated actress who co-starred in the long running NBC sitcom Family Ties. Meredith is also a producer, author, advocate and survivor of domestic violence who devotes much of her time to speaking out on the issues of violence prevention, women’s health and empowerment. Meredith was recently featured on Ellen and Oprah, sharing her personal stories of fame, success, courage and transformation. Now she’ll share her moving story with us entitled “Breaking Family Ties: Empowering Ourselves to Overcome Domestic Violence.”
