Introducing a new addition to the Vogue Paris team – the one and only Miss piggy!

This week Veruca Salt had the pleasure of seeing the new Muppets Movie, whilst viewing a huge selection of fashion and beauty collaborations for our favourite female icon Miss Piggy.

Not content with sitting on the editorial team for one of the world’s greatest fashion bibles that is Vogue, dear Miss P has excelled herself in the style stakes. Mr Giles Deacon has designed a couture dress for her to wear at this week’s premiere of the movie, whilst MAC are fully on board, offering the perfect tools for the Miss Piggy look: think plenty of eyeliner, false lashes and a slathering of pink shadow.

The brand synergies didn’t stop there….Thomas Sabo have a limited edition charm bracelet for all you Muppet lovers out there, OPI have an exclusive nail collection dedicated to our adorable furry friends, and my personal favourite are a pair of sparkling pink shoes from coveted shoe designer Jerome C Rousseau!

The movie itself is definitely worth watching, not only for the fabulous fashion and to make sure Miss Piggy has still got her strong values on style and love, but it also includes some brilliant songs by lyrical genius Brett McKenzie, one half of comedy duo Flight Of The Conchords. An utterly feel-good movie, it was a joy to see The Muppets back together on the big screen.

The Muppets Movie is released in the UK Nationwide on the 10th February 2012.
