The Wisconsin Philharmonic Presents "Gallic Delights"

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 10, 2012 - Waukesha, WI February 10, 2012 – The Wisconsin Philharmonic presents, Gallic Delights, Sunday, February 26, 3:00pm at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield.  Featured violinist Maria Bachmann returns for the first time since 2009, performing a trio of pieces by Pablo de Sarasate and Jules Massenet.  The afternoon concludes with Georges Bizet’s immortal Symphony in C.

Immediately following the performance, the audience is invited to stay for a reception and a chance to meet with Ms. Bachmann and members of The Wisconsin Philharmonic.

The concert is the final opportunity to vote in The Philharmonic’s Audience Choice poll.  Patrons are invited to vote for one of three pieces to be featured on the 2012-2013 season finale concert.  The results of the poll will be announced, along with the entire 12-13 season at The Wisconsin Philharmonic’s upcoming St. Patrick’s Day gala, Emerald Eve, on March 17.

The Wisconsin Philharmonic has dedicated over 60 years to bringing exceptional symphonic music and cultural experiences to Waukesha County and surrounding communities.
