Tier II & Tier III cities Hiring Outlook is Improved by 11% in H1, 2012 – MyHiringClub.com

Feb. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- A significant percentage of 11% growth saw in H2, 2011 overall hiring activity in Tier-II and 7% growth in Tier-III cities compared to H2, 2010, revealed in survey conducted by Global Recruitment Tendering Platform MyHiringClub.com. The same is in positive note of 7% and 2% respectively compared to first half of 2011. According to survey Manufacturing / Engineering, Retail, FMCG, Insurance/Banking and IT/ITeS are major sectors where maximum hiring had done from these cities. 547 employees and 439 recruitment consultants had participated in this survey, which was conducted by MyHiringClub.com from 1st Jan 2012 to 31st Jan 2012 in 12 Industries segment. First Half of 2012 hiring outlook is able to see some positive hiring momentum compare to last year H1. Tier – II cities hiring outlook first half of 2012 is 24% & Tier – III cities outlook is 19%, up by 11% and 8% respectively.

Manufacturing & Engineering sector is leading with 31% of total hiring from Tier-II & III cities, followed by Retail Sector (23%) Banking & Financial Services (19%), FMCG (19%), IT & ITes (17%), Telecom (11%), Infrastructure (9%) and Automobile (8%)

However, first half of 2012 hiring outlook in these industries are rosy. Manufacturing & Engineering sector is again leading with 28% hiring outlook followed by FMCG (18%), Retail (17%), IT & ITeS (17%), Automobile (15%), Insurance (14%), Banking & Financial Services – Except Insurance (11%) and Telecom (9%),

Among 112 surveyed cities Pune & Chandigarh is leading with 26% in H1, 2012 hiring outlook followed by Ahmedabad (22%), Lucknow (21%) and Jaipur (18%) in Top 5 list of cities.
