WHAT: Autumn Leaves of Cityview, a specialized memory care assisted living community exclusively providing care for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, is now offering an interactive, virtual dementia experience, called “Through the Alzheimer’s Looking Glass” in Fort Worth.
“Through the Alzheimer’s Looking Glass” is an in-depth, interactive experience developed to assist caregivers in understanding more about Alzheimer’s and forms of dementia from their loved one’s perspective.
WHO: During lunch, the co-founder of Autumn Leaves, Jane Anderson, R.N., will give a presentation on interactive communication techniques for caregivers and loved ones. The presentation will provide caregivers with an understanding of how best to communicate with those with Alzheimer’s. Free day stay services are available though pre-register is required.
