June 16, 2012 was the first day the government would begin accepting applications filed by the childhood arrivals or similarly known as the “dreamers.” (I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)

The government is requesting a lot of information and completing each application took an average of 3 hours to complete. If you fail to provide a document requested or complete the application incorrectly you are at risk of a denial (government gives no refunds) or a Request for Evidence (go to the back of the line, huge delay). Make a smart choice.

$465 application fee is expensive for some but its a small amount to pay for piece of mind.

This is an entirely new application with new evidence not ordinarily requested by the government.  Simply, some people don’t know what there doing so be careful who you hire. We personally would not trust this application to a notary or paralegal. These individuals are not attorneys and usually can help individuals with Immigration because they learned them from an attorney…. There is too much at stake to take that kind of risk.  We recommend not attempt this application by yourself.

Attorney at 24/ A Law Firm explains, "One of the applications I completed today, This individual is a prominent member of a not for profit organization pursuing the “Dream Act.”  As a member of this not for profit and in conjunction with several local universities they have organized a large legal clinic.  My client brought his application and the exhibits for me to review ..Immediately I noticed an omission that could have lead to a significant delay in his case."

Hiring an attorney to help you with this application is a sound investment for your future.  Make a smart decision, set an appointment, ask a lot of questions.  Feel comfortable with your decision.
